Ambi Venkatraman
Ambi Venkatraman is the founder of EMDI Europe S.A. He holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras in India and a post-graduate diploma in International Trade from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi in India. He has over 30 years experience of business management in India and Europe thereby leading to established network of contacts. Over the years he has also enabled several Indian businesses to build and implement a marketing strategy as well as played a major role in subcontracting and technology transfer.
Raja Venkatraman
Raja Venkatraman is educated from Europe and United States. He plays a vital role in EMDI Europe S.A. for new business opportunities with over 3 years of experience.
Bala J. Raman
Bala
is the Co-founder and President of Congruent Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
He has almost two decades of experience in the high-tech industry. His
initial years involved sales and business development roles for Sperry
Univac mainframes, Digital VAX superminicomputers and CAD / CAM / CAE
solutions from Autotrol, Applicon and SDRC. Subsequently, he has been
evangelizing the benefits of leveraging the Global Delivery Model in technology
services business. He was based in the Silicon Valley for a few years
and was instrumental in helping companies like Chips & Technologies, MIPS
Computers and Mylex take their first offshore development initiative.
He was part of the core team that set up the offshore development center
for Covansys. Bala has an astute understanding of the challenges in managing
the Global Delivery Model and often educates prospects on both the benefits
and pitfalls of the offshore model. Since 1999, as the President and a
member of the Board of the company, he has been leading Congruent's efforts
in establishing a quality-conscious, customer-centric technology services
organization. He set up the US subsidiary Congruent Solutions, Inc. in
California and now oversees the entire global operations of Congruent.
Bala has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Delhi College
of Engineering and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the
Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIMC), one of India's premier
business schools.
Mangudi Subramaniam
Mangudi
Subramaniam is the Vice President - Technology, Asia Pacific & Europe
in Congruent Solutions. Mangudi 'MsS' Subramaniam (MsS) has over two
decades of experience in managing complex IT projects. He spent seven
years in the Silicon Valley, managing a variety of challenging assignments
at Hewlett Packard, Pacific Bell, and the County of Santa Clara. MsS specializes
in reverse logistics, datawarehousing and complex databases. He began
his career with stints in leading consulting services companies in India,
gaining exposure to manufacturing processes and logistics. He then moved
to the United States and leveraged his skills in building leading edge,
database driven applications for Fortune 500 companies. He was the chief
architect for implementing a comprehensive order fulfillment application
for HP Americas and provided the guiding vision for several Ingres migration
projects at Pacific Bell. MsS comes to Congruent with a proven multi-tasking
capability and an ability to plan, prioritize and manage complex projects
under aggressive timelines. MsS is a commerce and accounting graduate
form the University of Madras.
